NORTH SHORE BOAT RAMP KEY
Important Update: New Agreement and Process
Based on a new agreement with North Shores subdivision, we will handle our boat launching within our neighborhood association. Please do NOT contact the North Shore people moving forward this season.
This year a select few of your Edgewood neighbors have volunteered to become our designated Edgewood "Harbor Masters" with direct access to the ramp key.

New Contact Persons/"Harbor Masters" for Boat Launch Access:
Liz Kennedy - 248.672.2755
Bob Sims - 248.755.7184
Mark Steffes - 248.872.8016
Peter Pace - 248.819.6667
Mike Miller - 248.880.2913
Mike Dickmeyer - 734.812.6556
Chris Hill - 248.505.0804

Again, please DO NOT contact any of the North Shores residents for ramp access. Please schedule your launch with one of the available “Harbor Masters” in advance. Give them a few days’ notice to include you in their schedule and make a solid effort to launch your boat at the time you requested. If there is a delay, contact that Harbor Master immediately with a status update. These people have busy schedules and they are trying to accommodate you.
PLEASE DO NOT back your boat trailer or vehicle onto any North Shore resident driveway or lawn while launching your boat, please respect their privacy. Please always demonstrate caution when launching your boat.
Special thanks to North Shore for granting this opportunity. They offered us a privilege and we need to demonstrate respect for their facilities at all times. As a reminder, the ramp is for the launch of your personally owned boats only.
As part of the new arrangement, all Edgewood Park Drive water-front homeowners will be charged $17 in addition to their annual dues for 2024. This arrangement was approved at the June 3, 2024 annual meeting. The one-time $17 fee covers all launches and removals of all boats owned by the lakefront homeowner for 2024. The $17 one-time fee for the season replaces the $15 for each boat in and a separate $15 for each boat out, resulting in significant savings for boat owners.
Your cooperation is appreciated in advance. Have a safe Boating Season.
